Additional suite options can be made by phone only at 1-907 276-6000 by referencing the “Alaska Bird Conference” for special rates. For example, the Junior Suite rate is $195 plus tax, and there are other options as well (e.g., Executive Suites, Crow’s Nest Suites). Just remember, rooms other than the Deluxe Rooms but must be booked by phone only.
We encourage all participants to stay at the Hotel Captain Cook if possible, since the Conference will get one (1) complimentary guest room for every 50 room nights produced under the Alaska Bird Conference name. These rooms will offset costs for the conference since we put our Keynote Speakers or performers in these rooms. Thank you.
All room reservations come with Complimentary Wi-fi, access to men’s and women’s athletic facilities featuring steam room, workout room with cardiovascular machines, weight machines, locker rooms, lounge, and sauna. Men and women share two peloton bikes, swimming pool, aerobic room, and co-ed exercise room.
Deluxe Rooms
The Hotel Captain Cook’s classic room is available with two double beds or one king. All deluxe rooms offer gorgeous views of downtown Anchorage, Cook Inlet or Chugach Mountains. Amenities include: Centralized air conditioning, Ceiling fan and windows that open, Blackout drapes, In-room safe, and Hypoallergenic bedding available upon request,
Junior Suites
Separate sleeping and living areas furnished with a sofa, desk and two televisions. Take advantage of the extra space and spread out and enjoy the views. All rooms offer views of downtown Anchorage, Cook Inlet or Chugach Mountains.
